JOB TITLE: Mid-South Regional Field Technical Services Manager
The Mid-South Region, encompassing Virginia, Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee. Ideal base location is Atlanta, GA or Raleigh, NC.
Principle Functions :
The Regional field Technical Services Manager will work from a main office and is responsible for this respective geographical
Provide technical support as directed by the Regional Sales Manager.
Provide product application and technical training of DACs (Derbigum Authorized Contractors), and Derbigum sales representatives.
Guaranty roof audits.
Job starts / job site application training.
Problem/complaint resolution for all Derbigum products within the assigned sales region.
Scope of Job:
The Regional Field Technical Services Manager possess a complete and in-depth knowledge of all roofing processes, all Roofing local codes FM, UL and compliance requirements of Derbigum's products and systems.
Must have a complete knowledge of Derbigum products, systems and application.
The Regional Field Technical Services Manager must accomplish principal accountabilities through indirect people management and human resources skills.

High School acceptable, college preferred
Minimum 3 years’ experience related to commercial construction, commercial roofing application is required
Working knowledge of basic computer programs
Previous service experience as commercial roofing field tech, roof auditor/register roof observer preferred.
Valid Driver’s License
Assist Regional Sales Managers in developing and implementing training for DACs, Derbigum sales representatives and independent roof consultants/auditors of proper Derbigum/Permastic applications.
Resolve all problem/complaint issues and determine through technical evaluation, Derbigum’s liability that includes negotiating an equitable payout when necessary.
Manage and coordinate outside consultants and independent auditors (10-15 firms) under contractual agreement with Derbigum as needed for back up on guaranty job audits and 18-month job audits.
Maintain current knowledge on products, systems and technologies and evaluate Derbigum's need to develop new products/systems to meet market needs.
Other duties as assigned.
