The commercial roofing superintendent is responsible for the day to day oversight of all assigned roofing and re-roofing projects including but not limited to, materials procurement, scheduling, budgeting, and quality assistance.  The commercial roofing superintendent is also responsible for working closely with occupants and property owners throughout the project’s duration to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and quality installation.

  • Coordination of all subcontractors’ work
  • Responsibility for all field activities associated with the project, including ultimate responsibility for implementation of safety/zero harm program for the job site
  • Review and understand scope of work and project specifications
  • Review data to determine material and labor requirements for the job
  • Analyze blueprints, proposals, and other documentation to prepare an accurate time frame, cost, and labor estimate for the project
  • Review data to prepare job schedule
  • Proficiency using company communications tools – such as email and Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Office
  • Ability to read plans, specs, and details
  • Demonstrate ability to coordinate multiple trades and supervise a large group of workers
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills are required
  • Ability to maintain positive attitude and professionalism
  • Commitment to completion of projects on time and within budget
  • Ability to notify office and coordinate with all parties to resolve field vs. plans related discrepancies
  • Proven and effective management skills
  • Must have clean DMV history and be able to pass background checks in order to access military bases
