Owensboro Community and Technical College invites applications to apply for part-time faculty as an Instructor in the Manufacturing and Skilled Trades Department. This position teaches in Construction Technology Track.
This position is a temporary position used to fill classroom vacancies as needed.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Prepares and provides instruction and hands-on training.
Teach students basic level construction and carpentry objectives.
Coordinates supplemental instruction with local business and industries.
Coordinates and supervises community-based or work-based learning projects.
Evaluates student performance and learning.
Assesses student learning outcomes and program learning outcomes to achieve institutional performance measures.
Must have 3 years' experience in related field.
Minimum of an associate's degree in Construction and Building Technology, Construction Engineering, Construction Management or related areaORapproved experience in a building/construction-related field OR related Journeyman License.
Field experience and education in blueprint reading, roofing, floor, and wall systems.
Experience in green technology.
Basic computer skills.
College teaching experience is preferred.
