The Senior Vice-President is responsible for managing and supervising four departments:
Commercial Property Management
Residential Condo/HOA Management
Maintenance Services Operations
Administrative Services (Dispatch and Lease Administration)
In addition, the Senior VP will work closely with:
Human Resources Department
Accounting Division and CFO.
The overall purpose of this position is to direct, manage, monitor, and implement management strategies for each department to maximize company profits, create and maintain collaborative and harmonious working relationships among staff, seek out and implement operating efficiencies and quality control of services.
The Senior VP will work closely with the President in setting and implementing financial, business management and marketing strategies, goals and objectives. Responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of the corporate annual budget and three-year forecast. Assist in developing fees and billing rate structure. Reviewing monthly corporate financials with the Senior Management Team and examining variables; recommending capital expenditures, implementing departmental policies and procedures; supervising, mentoring and coaching staff in their respective units.

Ability to communicate effectively with clients, agents, vendors, contractors, and the public as well as all levels of management, maintenance and administrative staff.
Ability to access the managed portfolio of buildings, roofs, service and equipment areas. Responds to emergency situations when necessary.
Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Engineering or equivalent in work experience; current Ohio Real Estate License; CPM designation or equivalent.
10-15 years of portfolio management of commercial properties.
Oversight of a large portfolio of properties and supervising activities of multiple property managers, maintenance team and administrative support.
Thorough understanding and experience in financial reporting, budgeting and CAM reconciliations.
Experience in managing staff and their needs; hiring and disciplinary activities; coaching and mentoring; preparing and conducting performance reviews.
Experience in managing a maintenance operation consisting of multiple maintenance technicians; thorough understanding of commercial building maintenance, building mechanicals, construction knowledge, fleet and equipment management; snow removal services, small project services, oversight of maintenance billing operations, oversight of contracted services for the portfolio and corporation.
