Plans and schedules preventative maintenance work on HVAC systems, plumbing, roof, and other equipment and recommends approaches to preventative maintenance programs.
Repairs, replace, services, and install equipment including light fixtures, florescent bulbs., ballasts, lamp connectors, furniture and administrative equipment.
Identifies repair and maintenance projects requiring the assistance of contractors or vendors. Make recommendations on tasks needing outside contracted personnel to Director. Participates in estimates and evaluations or project costs; monitors work of vendors or contractors; assists in the review of new construction or remodel plan to assure compliance with facility standards. Make recommendations on tasks needing outside contracted personnel to Director.
Responds to emergencies quickly and make appropriate decisions; work with grounds, custodial and other personnel as appropriate in the performance of specific tasks.
Maintains a broad working knowledge of materials and system requirements related to the maintenance of the facility. Maintains appropriate records and reports.
High School Diploma or GED Equivalency.
Minimum of three years of work experience in licensed trade.
Possess and must maintain a current Kentucky License in at least one of the following trades: HVAC or Electrical.
Posses and must maintain a valid Kentucky Driver's License.
Salary Grade: 108 Salary Range: $24.23-$30.00/hr
